I've been thinking of taking off the easily removed badges from the car, i.e. the 16v and the Punto Sporting badges.
Possibly even the side strips, but I like the colour contrast they give, so they'll probably stay.
Should I take them off?
And is it true that the rear Fiat badge is bolted on like the bonnet one?

the rear fiat badge is bolted on as well as the punto one! the sporting is just glued on as is the side badges, have to watch some times as the glue holding the side strips on sometimes damages the paint when removing them and some are even bolted on so if you do decide to to it all be aware that you might have some holes left behind!

im not to sure if this will work with badges but it works with stickers
get a hair dryer and heat the badge up first this will soften the glue.

If you take off the side strips be ready for one hell of a job getting the sticky shit off that is left underneath!!! I have still got it on and i took of my side strips in june! Ok am lazy but it will take a bit o effort to get it off!!
Also if anybody has any clever suggestions to get the sticky crap off i would love to hear them!!!

If you spray it with tar and glue remover then a quick soapy wash, that should do it - but let the T+G soak in for a minute or too (but nae that long!)
