What's with the recent influx of spam?

I notice that everyday there seems to be 2 or 3 new members (all spam with spam websites and they never post). Where are these coming from?

they keep adding themselfs onto my site, none of them seem to post, they just have stupid profiles from like hong kong and want you to buy pills. lol
