Plans for the long weekend.

Well, it seems i have monday the 9th off (even though the scottish holiday is the following monday) so i have some plans:

overhaul my throttle body
Flush coolent, hose out radiator and lines and replace thermostat.
clean interior
replace rear wiper blade
buy and fit some silver heater vent surrounds
Wash, polish and detail car

Should be fun.

What are your plans for whatever long weekend you have?

If I'm at home on Monday I'm planning on tinting my rear lights 8-)

I plan on sitting about doing nothing the majority of the weekend. Kinda tempted to sort my sub n amp in some form but I shall see.

Not got a lot to do with the car, was going to fit the angel eye bulbs but think i shall just leave it as it seems to be a lot of work for me to do myself. Would look good though.

Oh yeah I plan on changing my Spark Plugs this weekend - not 100% sure on getting it done without screwing up so any advice (AND help in the Glasgow area is appreciated)

Plus I need to try and tighten up my aux belt to stop it whining in the mornings.

Well my plans have changes somewhat:

Saturday - oil change, wipers and thermostat (finger crossed with the Post Office on the last 2 things)

Sunday - wash and polish, maybe the car too boom boom :D

Monday - films, films, films

Decided against the tinting for now as I've realised the stuff I have is absolute gash :evil:

well my weekend plans involve spraying the rear bumper to cover up the lovely scrapes the car has gotten into of late...should be interesting lol!

Working working working and hopefully finding time for a quick pint tomorrow!

Might actually clean the micra beast, as I realised it hasnt been cleaned in any way shape or form since I bought it! Should probably chug in the new spark plugs & get an air filter, but Im sure it can wait a week!

I'm mightily pissed off this morning:

1. My wipers still haven't arrived after 2 weeks.

2. Car was due for an oil change but the garage only just realised they don't know what model my car is and so haven't got a filter - going in next week.

3. Went to fit my new thermostat and after wrestling for 10 minutes with the battery I find the thermostat is the wrong fooking one.

I need to kick something...where's that cat of mine?

Yus, I got a full refund (inc delivery) for the thermostat. Still haven't washed the car but I am watching films...so not an entirely wasted weekend :D

My weekend wasn't a total waste, managed to get around to changing the spark plugs and the aux belt. Also got a chance to remove the throttle body and give it a clean. Not actually washed her yet but to be honest - I cant be arsed.

Overhauled my throttlebody. What a difference!!! The thing was filthy when i started, by the time i finished it was litterally as smooth as silk.

I made a desision to leave the coolent as the service guys gave it a green tick for condition so it seems ok.

Went to halfords to stock up on stuff. Bought loads of cleaning stuff but i couldn't get any quick clay so i have had to postpone the wash untill next weekend.

Still havent got round to fiat yet.
