For some reason people on Alfa Romeo Owners Club feel that Murray Walker should get a knighthood - it looks like I'm the only one disagreeing so I could be burned at the stake soon.

I've pretty much had it with AROC - feel like an outside in amongst the gangs.

knighthoods get handed out far too easy these days. He doesn't deserve one plain and simple - but then neither do 95% of the people who get them.

You know the old saying - if the face fits! As Voodoo says, it's not like he was the perfect commentator and even if he was, I don't see why that makes him eligable for one. Far more people have done far harder work than he has, yet I don't see them getting honours.

Then again, step one on the eligibility criteria seems to stipulate chucking some cash in the direction of those making the nominations :lol:
